I think I want a motorcycle. I might have my brother talked into selling me his. But I'm not sure I'm exactly motorcycle material. Here are the pros and cons.
Pros
1. Gas, duh. Saving the environment and all that.
2. Fun. Riding up and down this mountain has to be a blast.
3. Included. Not being left out of rides with my brothers.
4. Exciting and cool. Those speak for themselves.
Cons
1. My hair. Who wants to go to work with helmet hair?
2. Skirts. Since most of my work clothes are hand-me-downs from Kim and she only wears skirts, that's what I wear most days. Pretty sure I can't get away with a skirt on a motorcycle.
3. Scared of wrecking. I know how bad it hurts to get mangled in an accident.
4. Exposure. I'm not sure I like the idea of being right out there where everyone can see me.
I'd be happy for opinions on this one.

I think it all depends on where you are going. Short trips around town, I think would be safe. Freeway would be scary. The skirt is easy issue is easy. Wear pants and bring your skirt--change upon arrival.
I've been thinking about this too since my motorcycle trip last weekend. I hate having to depend on other people to entertain me and it does seem like such an adrenaline rush to ride our mountain. Too bad I already spent my fun money for the next 10 years on my little trailer or there just might be a motorcycle in my own garage this weekend!
I vote go for it!
don't forget about the bugs....nothing worse than arriving at work with bug juice on your forehead :)
